David Blaine talks about holding his breath.

I've never been a very big fan of david blaine's. (I've been a big fan of magic and an amateur magician since I was 15) His street magic specials were ok. But he never really brought anything to the table that I hadn't seen done before, at least not using the same tried and true techniques. His stunts never seemed impressive because he was known as a magician first, so why should we trust that any of it was done without trickery?

Illusions and magic tricks by definition, are lies intended to entertain by deceit.

I had always thought he practiced like the rest of us: holding our breath until 1) our faces turned blue and 2) our parents caved in

I don't know how someone can force themselves to stay under until they pass out. Think you've gotta have a screw loose somewhere or something. Laughing
